B&B Altrov’è it is the result of an idea of hospitality that is new and ancient at the same time, in the historical center of Parabita, a beautiful small city in the heart of the Salento, not too far from other famous places (Lecce, Gallipoli, Otranto, Galatina, Maglie, Nardò, Leuca).
Our B&B is situated in a ancient noble abode, dating back to 1500, that has been completely restructured, to the purpose to preserve its architectural particularities.
Some architectural particularities are very suggestive, in fact: among these there are the solutions to use the sources of light, the structural elements typical of the ancient abodes of the Salento, the vaulted roofs (ribbed vault, barrel vault), the natural calcareous stone.
Our idea of hospitality is in the name of our B&B: “Altrov’è”.
In Italian language “Altrov’è” is a play on words. In English language “Altrove” means “Elsewhere”. But “Altro-v’è” means “There is much more”. In fact we want to offer an alternative to the usual proposals of stay, an alternative that you often meet with difficulty, but that from us you will find, there is: “Altro-v’è”, “There is much more”!.
We offer a hospitality dictated by authentic values, in a context where the beauty of the places, the culture of the acceptance, the care of the food and of the objects, and also the attention to the human relationships, have left deep and visible traces.
We offer confidentiality and tranquillity, comfort and privacy, reliability of the service and personal attention necessary, allowing our guests to feel itself “at home”, also being, at the same time, “elsewhere”.

B&B Altrov’è offers its guests services for bed and breakfast in three independent rooms. The rooms, decorated with care, they all have a private entrance, bathroom with shower, heating, ventilation, TV. Guests can also dispose of one large hall for breakfast and two external cloisters usable as a relaxing place.

B&B Altrov’è organizes, promotes, or is home to cultural events of different types: execution of musical performances, exhibitions of works of art, creation of thematic meetings, presentation of publishing, the tasting of wines and typical products of Salento. On these occasions, B & B Altrov’è grant, for rent, its structure and also provides:

• equipment and tools for audio amplification;
• communication services and promotion of initiatives.
