The history
The building that entertains B&B “Altrov’è” has been abode of Francesco Ferrari, descending of Francesco Saverio Ferrari, son of Giuseppe Ferrari, the first duke of Parabita. Francesco Ferrari was the representative of the aristocracy to the beginning of the century. He was correspondent of the London lodge, and engaged socially philanthropist active in enterprises: he taught in his residence illiterate farmers and founded in the 1888 the “Banca Popolare di Parabita”.
Successively bought by Seclì and D’Elia family, has been restructured by the actual owners.
